Automotive Sales Assistant Job Interview Questions and Tips

As an Automotive Assistant you will be working in the car trade providing assistance on car parts to clients and customers and giving general advice. If you have been successful in gaining an interview for this role then you will need to be interested in the automotive industry and be able to learn a great deal about cars and parts and the industry in general.

Before going to any interview, make sure that you have researched the role and the company well and that you understand exactly what they do and what the role is that you are expected to do. Your interviewer will be looking to see if you have good customer service skills as you will spend a lot of your time talking to customers and dealing with enquiries and your knowledge and experience will need to be exceptional to deal with this.

You will need a confident manner and attitude and have excellent communication skills. You will need to be able to deal with all kinds of people from customers, clients, and trades people and for that you will need to wear different hats.
