People quit their jobs for many different reasons including finding a better company that offer better money or better working conditions.
It’s absolutely ok to change your career and employer as long as you know what you are doing. You should never risk your current job until everything signed and secured with the new employer.
Do never submit your resignation letter before the employer asked you to do so. Job offer must be printed and signed either on a paper or electronically through an email.
It may be too late once you resign and serve your notice period to go back to your employer and tell them you have changed your mind.
Companies especially big ones, will tend to replace the employee who resigned as soon as possible to get things moving. Don’t forget you are probably a number on the payroll. Never assume that you are unreplaceable. Everyone is replaceable.
