Does Devour have proximity chat?

This happens to me in Devour and Lunch Lady, both games running proximity chat. In other games, programs, it works perfectly. I've tried a lot of things and none seem to work.

Pacify came first, but Devour is much better IMO. I would say its better than Devour, this game feels better and the objective is different in both levels, while Devour has two maps and the objective and the mechanics are just reskinned. This game is jankier than Devour but Devour is also pretty jank.

The best or only way to stop Anna at the moment is to use your UV light at her. Don't waste the UV light battery though. Point at her until she stands still; then you'll know that she's temporarily stunned. It gets harder and harder to do so as you burn more goats because she gets stronger.

While it's eating, you can pick the goat up. Bring the goat to the ritual place outside the house and burn the goat. You have to pour the gasoline before you can start burning.

After burning three, you will have to stun her twice before she'll be calm, and when the exorcism will better its final stage after burning 7 goats, she'll need to be stunned three times. On top of that, she's going to stay calm for a much shorter period of time in her final phase.
