How much colder is it skydiving?

The temperature changes about three degrees per every thousand feet you ascend. That means it is about around 30 degrees cooler at altitude! In the summer, your skin will glisten a bit with perspiration on the ground, but as you ascend, you'll quickly feel the gentle cool of the altitude.

Can you get frostbite from skydiving?

It's cold up high in the air, and when you head to a higher altitude it can quickly become far too chilly for you to safely be exposed to the air. You could end up with frostbite, or even get to the point where you couldn't breathe. At CSC, staying safe is much more important than anything else.
