Getting All 900 Korok Seeds In BOTW Rewards Players With A "Kin No Unko" The only practical use for Hestu's Gift after collecting all 900 Korok Seeds in Breath of the Wild is to make the giant Korok perform his signature dance on command, but Hestu may have given it to Link as a good luck charm.
Hestu's Gift is a key item from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Link can obtain it after returning all 900 Korok Seeds collected throughout Hyrule to Hestu. Like the Classified Envelope and Kilton's Medals of Honor, it serves no purpose other than being an award trophy for collecting all Korok Seeds.
Korok seeds are used for upgrading your inventory space, although you don't even need all of them to do that. Collecting the 900th seed and handing it over to your Korok friend Hestu simply provides... a poo-shaped "gift".
After finally completing the monumental task of collecting all nine hundred of them, your reward is probably not what you were expecting: Hestu's Gift, a golden piece of poop.
The forest is in the Woodland Tower region, and this is Hestu's third and final location. To reach the forest, you'll have to enter via the Lost Woods to the southeast. At the entrance, there's are some ruins next to a torch.
After returning Hestu's Maracas, Hestu will allow Link to exchange Korok Seeds for additional slots in the weapons, bows and shields pouches. Link's weapons pouch can be upgraded 11 times, his bows pouch 8 times, and his shields pouch 16 times. Only 441 Korok Seeds are needed to maximize all expansions.
It's just the backstory, the kind of hidden kind of thing in the game the whole way is that the Korok seeds are actually Korok poop. Yes, after searching through the entirety of Hyrule for all of the Korok seeds, players are rewarded with golden Korok poop.
Hestu's Gift is one of the Key Items in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and is the reward for collecting all 900 korok seeds. A gift of friendship given to you by Hestu. It smells pretty bad. This item does not have any special uses except for its ability to cause Hestu to dance on command.
Is there a reward for completing the hyrule compendium?
Completing the quest will reward you the Camera rune, the final rune in the Sheikah Slate, unlocking the album and the Hyrule Compendium along with it.

You can find him south of Kakariko Village. When you meet him for the first time, you have to solve the The Priceless Maracas quest -- from there on, he can be paid in Korok Seeds to expand your inventory slots.
Hestu's Maracas are hidden in a Treasure Chest behind a rock archway along the road south of Kakariko Village. In order to open the Chest, Link must slay the Bokoblins guarding it. Upon Link returning to Hestu with the Maracas, Hestu will recognize them and request that Link return them to him.
There are 900 of them in the game. xFateAwaitsx is the one who scooped them all up, and today shared the reward they received from Hestu for doing so. If you're wondering what kind of timeframe is involved in doing this, know that it took them two hours just to go from 899-900.
