Does Cascade count as casting?

Casting a card with the cascade ability is optional. If you choose not to, the card is put on the bottom of your library in a random order along with the other cards exiled with cascade.

Does storm count as casting?

The storm ability only counts spells that are cast. It does not count when copies of spells are put on the stack. For example, if a Lightning Bolt is played, and it is copied by Reverberate, only two spells have been cast. The copy of Lightning Bolt that was created by Reverberate will not be counted.

Does first sliver Cascade twice?

If The First Sliver's own cascade ability lets you cast another Sliver card, that Sliver won't have cascade. If a spell has multiple instances of cascade (for example, if you cast a second The First Sliver), each instance of cascade triggers and resolves separately.

Does counterspell stop Cascade?
