Are PSA card holders waterproof?

They aren't waterproof no. They are water resistant and this will will vary in effectiveness, because of their ultrasonic welds being slightly different each time.

How are PSA cases sealed?

As stated earlier, the PSA holder is tamper-evident as a result of the sonic weld that seals the two parts of the PSA holder together. This is, of course, not the same thing as tamper-proof, which would mean the holder could not be violated at all.

How durable are PSA cases?

The result of sonically welding the front and rear slabs is an exceptionally durable and tamper-evident holder for your trading card or PSA-holdered collectible. Individual pieces of the PSA holder are slightly flexible prior to being sonically welded. Once welded, the case is fused with a virtually inflexible bond.

Will LED lights fade autographs?

LEDs do not fade artwork when used within the specified luminosity and duration of time. Without infrared radiation or heat from the bulbs, it becomes a factor. Some yellow pigments used decades ago might be prone to turning green due to the blue light in LEDs.

Autographs and cards with white are definitely more prone to damage then others. There are examples of BGS/PSA 10 autos getting ruined by indirect light. If you are going to display something where it gets exposed to light often, Uv protection is definitely smart.

Are card Savers good for long term storage?

Card savers aren't ideal long term storage solutions if they are oversized. Use toploaders. That being said, I've sent many of my own cards to PSA with a minor curve in the card saver, and all have returned as 10's, without visible curving to the then graded card.
